Take your time
Days, weeks and years; they fly. Always. Which is usually a good thing. But don't forget to slow down every now and then. To see the full moon. To just walk around. Try something new. Or to spontaneously stay out far too long on that terrace with friends. Here we share our favourite ways of taking time in Amsterdam. The best things in life aren't things.
Located along Amsterdam's beautiful Keizersgracht nr 609, Foam is an internationally renowned photography museum that celebrates both emerging and established photographers from around the world.
One of the things we love most about Foam is its intimate scale. It's the perfect museum to explore in about an hour, making it easy to fit into a leisurely afternoon or evening in the city. You leave feeling inspired, refreshed, and often with a new way of looking at the world through the lens of photography.
Our favourite time to visit is on Thursday or Friday evening, when Foam stays open until 9:00 PM. As the city begins to quiet down, the museum offers a calm and inspiring escape before ending the evening with dinner or a drink. Whether you're passionate about photography or simply looking for a beautiful cultural experience, Foam is always worth a visit. And a little inspiration goes a long way.
